Mt Maunganui Anglican Parish encourages all members to be
involved in voluntary activities supporting the day-to-day running
of the parish as well as activities that reach into the community.
Members are nurtured and encouraged through worship, study and
fellowship. New members are asked how they would like to be
involved when they join the Parish.
Rest Home and Village Ministry
A team of volunteers work with the Vicar to provide services in
a number of rest homes and villages in the Mt Maunganui
community. Communion is taken to individuals as requested.
To become involved in
this ministry contact the Vicar, Rev'd Christine Scott

Study Groups
Study groups are formed during Lent. They are based in people's
homes as well as a group that meets after the mid week service at
St Peter's.
There is a weekly Bible study home group.
For information about study groups contact the Parish
Office via the (preceding) link or phone 07 575 9945.
Hospital Ministry
A team of people are rostered at the hospital to take
patients to the Chapel services four times a year. Volunteers are
always welcome for this ministry.
The vicar and a team of pastoral carers also make hospital
visits when the parish is advised of people in
hospital.
